WHAT IS A YOUNG EXPERT MISSION ?

A YEM is a “young expert mission” conducted by a 10 –junior consultants team. It forms part of our engineering program in our ISTOM engineering school and is intended to meet the needs of an organization (NGO, company, cooperatives, public authority, research organization, engineering department …).

It’s a project that extends over a period of one and a health years.

The mission will be conducted in three steps :

  • A first period to define the mission,

  • A period of methodological and technical preparation

  • A field phase of 1 or 2 months with the mobilization of the whole team, that leads to the drafting of deliverables synthesizing our intervention and responding to the project backer’s needs.

This mission is well prepared and scheduled !

We wish to be fully invested actors in this mission by keeping a constant and strong collaboration with the project backer and with our teachers-researchers. Upstream from the field phase, we also look for financial resources to contribute the costs incurred during our on-site intervention.
